This is a rare copy of Napier’s biographical dedicational tome on the life of the great Scottish writer, Sir Walter Scott. The book explores the various places featured in the literature and life of Sir Walter Scott, including many in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The book has finely detailed illustrations throughout of the places spoken about, and 25 full page plates. Inserted inside the book is a signed letter from the author, dated 13th January 1906.
